Soon, the Deva from the previous session appears as an ally in the fight on the dais (dais ex machina!), and we manage to kill the master vampire and his minions. Once Ashton and Garret finish the demon, they join in the fight with the vampires, which is going poorly for Grush. Ashton and Garrett jump into the battle pit to help tackle the demon, and Grush goes up on to the dais to tackle the undead on his own.
